WHAT WE DO
Roll Gothica specialise in hand-crafted gaming accessories and art for the weirdos and the nerds. Our mission is creating badass alternatives to plastic, mass produced products - so you can game with sustainability AND style.
Roll Gothica is run by Jodie Boyce, a british multi-media artist & elder emo, blending a love of tabletop gaming and the alt scene in her work. Finding the balance between being nerdy and creative in dice-making, Roll Gothica is built on a dream to offer gaming art and accessories that are actually really cool.
You'll find her roleplaying an anxious druid, piled behind copious paint tubes with her tuxedo Shao-May, or running around the country with a case full of dice and art!
FAUX-STONE SPECIALISTS
We were the first brand to exclusively use Jesmonite, also called faux-stone, for our dice. There's no epoxies here:
which means no toxic fumes or air pollutants, no risk of future toxic off-gassing, and products that eventually break down (when you want them to). Jesmonite is a gypsum compound, that is non-toxic and can disintergrate when left in water for weeks and weeks. This means you get stunning handmade dice for your lifetime, that won't float in a landfill in 10,000 years.
SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTMENT
Beyond not using epoxy plastics in creation, we ensure there is no single use plastics used in our processes.
Everything in our power is sourced locally in the UK, unless extenuating circumstances, and we refuse to use next day delivery services or exploitative low cost suppliers.
Our boxes and papers are made of recycled material, which we encourage you to either re-use or pop in your own recycling.
We believe in being the change we want to see: we run a low-waste studio, we source things ethically, and we prioritise doing things the best way and not the cheapest way.
